Lilongwe City Council’s Public Works Committee Tour
Lilongwe City Council’s Public Works Committee conducted a thorough tour of roads and box culverts currently under Construction within the City on 2nd August,2024.
The Committee visited the Box Culvert in Area 10, Area 49 Shire road, Senti road and Mtandire – Airwing road.
This tour was organized to evaluate the progress of these critical infrastructure projects, ensure the quality of work being performed and address any emerging challenges.
Throughout the tour, the committee engaged with constructions consultant, engineers, and project managers for further insight on the quality control processes.
The Public Works Committee emphasized on the importance of maintaining high standards to prevent future maintenance issues and ensure the safety of all road and bridge users.
