CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF SELECTED LILONGWE CITY ROADS

Lilongwe City Council (LCC) has allocated public funds for the procurement of various works and services in the 2020 – 2021 financial year and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds towards the cost of Design and Construction Supervision of selected Lilongwe City Roads.

LCC now invites proposals to provide consultancy services for the Design and Construction Supervision of the Selected Lilongwe City Roads in the 2020/2021 Financial Year. The consultancy services are for various roads as detailed in the Terms of Reference.

Firms will be selected in accordance with procedures described in this RfP and the Public Procurement Act of 2017, the Public Procurement Regulations 2004 and the procedures described in Part 1: Proposal Procedures, therein. The services required are described in detail in Part 2: Schedule of Requirements. The format for any resulting contract will be as detailed in Part 3: Form of Contract.

Interested bidders may obtain request for proposal (RfP) documents and further information during working hours from Monday, 4th May, 2020. The RfP may be sent by e-mail upon request from the Procurement Section, Lilongwe City Council, Civic Offices, Robert Mugabe Crescent, Lilongwe.  Attention: Principal Procurement Officer; Email: andrew.ngalande@lcc.mw

The RfP document in English, shall be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MWK20, 000.00 to the cashier at FDH Bank Service Centre located at Civic Offices and bidding documents shall be collected from the Procurement Unit of Lilongwe City Council Civic Offices, Room No. 308. The method of payment will be cash or bank certified cheques only.

Electronic bidding will not be permitted and late bids will be rejected.

Eligible bidders must submit ONE original document and THREE copies of RFP in a sealed envelope. RFP must be delivered into TENDER BOX at the address below by 10:00 hours on Wednesday, 4th June 2020. Late RFP will be rejected. The RFP must be clearly marked “RFP for CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION OF SELECTED LILONGWE CITY ROADS”
