Donation of mattresses and pillows from the Lilongwe Senior Christian Women Forum.

On Friday 14th January Lilongwe City Council Area 18 Cemetery attendants received a donation of mattresses and pillows from the Lilongwe Senior Christian Women Forum. This is a generous gesture towards the men who selflessly dedicate their lives to bury our dead with dignity. The chair of the group Mrs Mwadiwa said they decided to mobilise money from among themselves as one way of showing appreciation to the cemetery attendants. On his part the Chief Executive Officer Mr John Chome thanked the women Christian group for this amazing thought and said this is a symbol of love and appreciation for the work and dedication these men provide which we all often take for granted.
